February 18 –
North Florida Jazz Quartet
 
Have you heard the music of Miles Davis, Charlie “Bird” Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Chet Baker, or Stan Getz?  All of these musicians will be honored by The North Florida Jazz Quartet.  Featuring music highlighted from the Great American Songbook with songs by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Jimmy Van Heusen, Jobim and more. The jazz combo features four musicians that are current or recent graduates of the acclaimed Jazz Studies division of the UNF School of Music – Stephen Reese (bass), Ray Callendar (trumpet), Jorge Rodriguiz (guitar) and Eric Mason (drums).

JL Institute Jazz Sextet
 
Producer, arranger and artist John Lumpkin presents the next generation of jazz, combining homage to jazz history and creative modern music.
